BASL mid season review 2025
Welcome to the Woodend Eagles mid season review for our two young Bendigo Amateur Soccer League (BASL) teams
We find ourselves half way through the dark Woodend winter, and the Woodend Eagles’ first ever season – time for some reflections on the season that has been so far, and what is to come
Thank you from everyone at WESC for a great first half of the season
To our amazing Coaches, Roberto, Mirza, Jase, Paul and Ali, who share their enthusiasm and skill with the team – the evidence is on the pitch and they’re helping make lifetime memories for these young players ⚽️
To the hard working Team Managers, Dodds and Rich, who keep things ticking 🍊 🍬 and the match reviews in the Spond 💦
To Al for his boundless passion and inspiration, and the Committee and volunteers, for running this great club 🦅
To the brilliant parents for supporting their kids, this club and giving up their time in the cold of winter! ☕️
To the players for their commitment and hard work, joy and teamwork – inspiring everyone to make this happen 🔭
Go you Eagles! 🌲🦅
