Non-Competitive (Age6-11)

Woodend Eagles Soccer Club play in the Football Victoria Greater Bendigo League. This age group caterers for kids starting out in the game with focus on growing skills and team development as they get older. The format is easy to follow enabling everyone (including parents) to understand the basics of football.

The pitches are smaller and the the two halves are shorter, depending on the age group.

  • U8: 7v7,  2×20 minute halves

  • U9: 7v7,  2×20 minute halves

  • U10: 9v9  2×25 minute halves

Our coaching style is designed to really engage the kids and understand that playing for each other is key, its no about everyone wanting to score goals… this comes naturally as they realise formations and passing skills. There is no official scoring in Under 11’s and below… although its hard to stop most of the parents counting!
